I just burnt a copy of the new Nickelback CD "The Long Road" and to tell you the truth, if you think all the songs are going to be like the new single "Someday" then your f*cking wrong...this album is the heaviest that the guys put out, I mean it still has that familiar sound you hear when seeing these guys but the new music is alot more harder and a little less melodic...now there's a few songs that are slow like "Should've Listened" and "See You At The Show" but songs like "Throw Yourself Away" and "Because of You" make up for it...I demand you buy this album when it comes out Sept. 23rd
ok where is everyone getting these albums way before they come out, and i would buy this album when it comes out, but limps new album is out that day, so i`ll get it after
I'll listen to it and if I like it I'm pretty sure they'll have a buyer . They are doing some good rock music, that's not some noise like it's for other bands. And they are Canadian, this helps too .
It was off IRC, but I got it on Kazaa, took me a helluva long time...i tried to get the 3 extra tracks that'll be on the limited editon version of it, but i couldn't, so i settled with just the 11 tracks on it...My favorites would have to be "Throw Yourself Away" and "Figured You Out"
yeah, the 3 extras are: 1.) Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting) (Cover) 2.) Yanking Out My Heart (the unedited version from the Scorpion King soundtrack) 3.) Learn the Hard Way (Daredevil Soundtrack) And I dont know what other things are going to be on it...it's only on the limited editon version...its in a digipak cover when it comes out, and im sure there's going to be a DVD with it, im not sure of it
I've heard the 3 bonus tracks though... Plus, if you go to Launch.com, they have the video up there now for Someday...to tell you truth "Someday" is just a pop filler song so that everyone can go buy the CD
It is such a awesome album...I think it's better than Sliver Side Up actually...SSU is a good CD and all but TLR blows it out of the water
I'm definitely going to give it a listen. SSU was ok, I was neither here nor there with that one but since everyone's reccomended their newest so highly I'll check it out.
