Indeed. Tebow's receivers bail him out when they can. Tebow's not the one who ran 80 yards down the field. Yes, he made the throw, but it was one of his few good throws on the night. I know most people say the stats don't make the player, what they accomplish in the post-season makes the player. But you can't help but wonder how long Denver will put up with a quarterback who completes fewer passes than the third-string QB running the scout team. I sound like a broken record but Tebow's the only thing I've got to complain about.
I'm glad San Fracisco beat the Saints. I love Drew Brees but to see Alex Smith prove he's a good quarterback makes me happy. It's hard to be consistent (or good) when your team changes offensive coordinators every single season because the playcalling is garbage. Smith proved he can be good with a good OC. It's just a shame they basically ruined his career by changing OCs every single year. I want to see Green Bay go back to the Super Bowl (I almost typed World Series) but if the 49ers beat the Packers I won't be disappointed at all. Related, I'm glad Tom Brady's whooping the Broncos' collective ass. I knew he would. Tim Tebow's a joke.
I hate football, but I love seeing Tim Tebow fail at it. Yeah, it's probably not very nice, but the guy's a lil bit on the insanely funny in a very bad way side.
This guy at the bar seriously has a thing for Tim Tebow... man crush. Great 49ers game. Who's got it better than us?
Same here. I was busy watching hockey, a real sport, last night, but anytime an outspoken evangelical loses, society wins.
I'm pissed the Packers lost. I wanted to see a Tom Brady-Aaron Rodgers match-up in the Super Bowl. Oh, well. I'm pissed the Texans lost, too. I was really hoping for them to oust the Ravens and make it to the AFC championship game. Oh, well (again).
Looks like it should be a Giants vs. Patriots Superbowl again. Brady is on fire and assures everyone he's still the league's best.
Well, it was still a good season for the Pack. If they can get some new players on defense and a running back that can break a fucking tackle then they should be unbeatable next year.
I can't see the Ravens beating the Patriots unless they intercept Brady five times. Granted, it could happen, but he's just on fire right now and I can't see anyone beating him. As far as the Giants-49ers game... I think the final score's going to be 17-14, and a last-second, game-winning field goal from Akers wins the game for the 49ers. I'm not sure who'd win the Super Bowl if it ends up being the 49ers and the Patriots. Great offense v. great defense... shitty offense v. shitty defense. We'll see.
