I would rather have "Sidewalks" than "In The Shadows".... I don't know why but I just seem annoyed by SOTY's lead singer's screaming voice
The "Sidewalks" chorus is too whiny. "In The Shadows" or "Swallow the Knife" would've been my choice.
I would have gone with "Dive Right In" for radio friendly listening. But "In The Shadows" is one of my favorite SotY songs.

I hope it's In the Shadows. I like Sidewalks better and if I hear it gets overplayed on the radio I won't want to hear it as much. They really do answer the questions in case you are wondering and I hope Phil does sing lead on the new album since Dan said they might try it out.
That's why radio sucks. it can't even play a scream part by a more poppy, mainstream band like Story of the year. I won't ever hear Poison the well on my local radio station

Well it sucks that they have to go by what radio will play. Even though I like "Sidewalks" I'd rather have "In the Shadows". I love all the screaming and it's not like they're saying anything bad. The radio plays rap music all day long with curse words and dirty things like that. I don't see why screaming is such a bad thing. Anywayz, it would have been cool if "Dive Right In" or "Divide and Conquer" was their next single. Those are my favorite songs by SOTY.
