New Simplistic Demo

    Simplistic, as some of you may already know, are signed to Linkin Park's Warner Bros. imprint label, Machine Shop Recordings.

    Simplistic have finished recording the instrumentals of their new 10-song demo CD. They've been working for the past 7 months, re-recording and restructuring old songs (including "Simple Lines," "Frontage Road," "Karma Killer" and "Secrets"), and writing and recording new songs.

    Simplistic plans on taking their demo CD to Los Angeles to record vocals with Mike Shinoda soon. Sources close to the band say that Simplistic will be working with Mike diligently after LP has finished touring. The release is set for sometime in September.

    Sweet news Wll, I might just go out and buy there album when it comes out :D and I hope that song they record with Mike will sound soo killer :D

    I think you misunderstood. I think Will meant that Mike will be helping them record vocals as he is their producer. I don't think he actually meant Mike will record a song with them.

    Well, if would be cool if Mike could do a song with them, even though he is their manager.

    He's not their manager. He's the one who signed them, and will be producing their album.

    i would still buy it even if they had nothing to do with linkin park, i couldnt force myself to like something just because it was to do with linkin park, for example if mike signed 50 cent, i`d still hate him, im buying the album out of sound, and not an extra peice of lp (sort of)

    Simplistic is a great band. I haven't heard any of their new stuff but I'm sure it's damn good.

    I thought Karma Killer was by Cyclefly and Chester! What does that have to do with Simplistic?

    Uhh.. HELLO!

    Taproot has a song called "Breathe" and so does Disturbed, does that mean they're the same song?

    NO.

    I repeat...

    NO.

    Bands are allowed to have the same song titles as each other. :rolleyes:

    Okay, I see your point. But riddle me this. . . how many times a day do you say Karma Killer, or do "karma killer"? Not exactly a household name is it?

    So what? Two bands are allowed to have songs with the same name. Their songs are nothing alike, at all.
