Sounds alright I guess, its kinda like MCR trying to be punk rock. I guess it beats their last album.
Believe it or not I actually liked most of The Black Parade but they have been out of the loop for awhile now and this song is just noise to me. I mean if the rest of the album sounds better than this then more power to them but right now I'm not sold
Somebody hasn't heard their first album. Or doesn't have an understanding of the elements of a punk song.
I think The Black Parade is better than their first two albums in all honesty. Based on this song seems like their new album could be a good combination of elements of all of their existing albums though, which is welcome.
They've always been a "punk rock" band, musically speaking. They're most true to the sound on their first album, with the next two albums being more and more pop-like but still with a bit of edge. also Well this is going to be a thorough dicking of the mind, it seems.
No.....no just no...someone lock this thread please. This is terrible. I SAT THROUGH THEM FOR PROJKT REVO AND I'D DO IT AGAIN. G.G. Allin, that was punk rock. These guys are the same 12 year old girl pedo loving band they've always been. Now there trying to give me epilepsy. I can't take it, get them out of Jersey, get them out of the US, get them off the earth. --RS
Wow...that was so...over the top trying to make a comeback. The poster who described this as "just noise," I'm right there with you. Blink-182 does this better.
Most true Punk Rock sounds just like this. Punk Rock has never been about sounding commercial or making something polished, 'calm' or marketable. This is a throwback to the brit-punk bands of the 70s. I personally don't have a problem with it. I have to give you a warning for that. Calling them pedo loving, and just blatantly disrespecting them was over the line. We have a rule against disrespecting musical tastes.
Eh it isn't their finest hour, but it's also in my opinion not terrible. I do hope the rest of the album is a little different though.
