New Music By End Of 2004

    In Tribnet's recent interview with Chester Bennington, the Linkin Park vocalist revealed that new material is in the works and that "there's a good chance" it will be released through some format by the end of the year. Chester then added: "It's kind of early to start talking about it just yet. But we plan on releasing something by the end of the year, and it's going to possibly include some music that you're not gonna find on anything else except that one piece. We're just now starting to plan it out."

    It's unclear how Linkin Park will release this music, future dvd's and 'Meteora' remixes have been talked about before by band members. Please stay tuned.

    i hope Chester was being really sarcastic, i want the next LP CD to be out in late 2005, that way there will be a chance of it being good.

    i highly doubt it's a brand new album. just a couple of b-sides or remixes or something

    Chester wasnt talking about a whole new album...but anyway i think i remember hearing that Phoenix said something that they're gonna release something through the internet near the end of the year, dont quote me on that though

    wow this is great news thanks for that news update! i hope its got some meteora remixes on it but mainly some new material would be nice..... we'll have to wait and see ^_^

    I think its going to be another Frat Party since by that time they'll have all their videos out from Meteora so they can include that, some remixes, behind the scene footage, some b-sides, and maybe even demos

    (w00t)

    I can't wait. Its a great idea because that can calm down some fans until a new album.

    Ugh.. I'm not even gonna comment on this one.

    As far as new material goes, I guess I'm not really that excited. With the recent decisions that the band has made regarding single releases and with the quality of their songs going incredibly downhill since the EP, you can say I've lost hope in the band.

    Cool news, I think it will probably just be b-sides and remixes. But I do think that they will release their third full length studio album about mid-2005

    Please do me a favor and respect other people's opinions. If he wants to post here, he can post here. As long as he isn't bashing the band and he's expressing his opinions in a non-hating way, he can do whatever the hell he wants. And he shouldn't have to answer to people who obviously have no respect for others opinions.

    I haven't lost faith in the band, but I don't like Meteora very much, are you going to tell me to leave?
