New Info On Numb Video

In a recent Kerrang article, there was some more info released on the 'Numb' video.

...After some time off to recuperate, the band, who began making the video in Prague, relocated to LA's Gothic-styled First Congregational Church to finish it off.

"Joe and I wrote this treatment together," he explains, "It's about a girl who's an artist. She has her own hang-ups, but she focuses on her art. It's a constructive situation for her because she's learning, but it's self-destructive because she's turning herself into a shut-in."

"I like videos, but if I was in charge they would only have footage of the band," adds Bennington, "There would be no Hollywood stuff at all, but that would probably get very boring!"


Linkin Park's video for Numb is rumored to be released on September 1st.

Man, that kicks major ass! And we had the idea it would be numb for so long! This is going to rule in a couple months. Oh, wait, it's only july! That means, 1 and a half months! Son of a bit*h! I'm pretty excited about it. Maybe it will be like the Crawling video? I mean, not the part with the blue icey stuff but with the girl and all. That makes it very dark and mysterious.

I got visiions of what the band would look like. Since in Crawling they had blue crystals, i was thinking for Numb they have thick green plants closing them in or something....I dunno....im wierd like that

I think it's good to wait. I hate when bands release a single every month..like..ya know..50 Cent or something. Let Faint do as much as it can.

 

i see what you mean. let faint play out until you get tired of it instead of likin the song but having another song take its place

 

Anyone else see this as being the next blowout LP song? Like how Crawling was, i mean it got everything, won the grammy....I see Numb as being that next song.

 

Ha..sarcasm. Awesome. I'm pretty sure I'll still like Faint when Numb comes out even though you'll be sick of it. Meteora is still selling very well so why rush another single?

But anyway..the video sounds cool. I'm patient.
