New Fort Minor album 2014/2015/2016

Mike was doing LPU chat this morning.While he was answering fans questions,he mentiond that new Fort Minor album will be probably out after LP's 6th album(source:Twitter).His previous work The Rising Tied is great album that needs sequel.It's been 8 years since it and Mike is now more expirienced and met various of sounds.What do you think how his next FM album is gonna look like(sound,new collaborations like SOB,L.Fiasco,Jay-z,Chaz,Mr.Hahn,etc.)?

The one guaranteed sound to be heavily featured on the album is a loud kick drum.

8 years? Holy fuck! I remember buying it at Sam Goody and the guy was like wtf is Fort Minor? The CD was $7.99. Went there 2 weeks later and it was $19.99.
But I digress..

Really looking forward to this. I play TRT all the time still.

 

Damn it has been 8 years since TRT dropped!? Fuck I'm getting old! Seems like only yesterday I went on FM.com to listen to the teaser clip of RTN. :/

 

While I expect it to be hip-hop driven, which is fine, I hope it's also everything Mike has in his toolbox. The guy could create another demention with the skills he has.

I know Ryu would be down for this, but has Tak been doing anything as of late?

 

I would jizz all over endlessly, lol. Tak has reunited with Ryu, they're apparently working together again.

The Rising Tied is so amazing, I can't wait to hear this...

 

I have a feeling some of it will sound like Debris, with Mike singing. His musical talents have come out a lot more since 2005.

yea of course, it would be at least 10 years between the two albums. i'm lookin forward

 

I'm excited at the prospects of a new album, don't get me wrong, and I do like a few of the songs on FM, but it didn't really blow me away the way his LP material does. So I'm looking forward to it but not drooling.

So this means LP will be on second hiatus after 6th album?? OMG

 

Well, seems like this is legit after all . This gets me thinking what the rest of the band will be up to. Chester could very well make another DBS album.

Also, fingers crossed for a solo EP by Brad.

 

Come on guys, he said he could work on a new FM record after next LP, but nothing's sure yet He even added in the chat that he might have been thinking out loud, so yep, I would count on a new FM record for another 3,4 years.

That said, I would definitely love a new FM album
