I haven't seen a thread about this, so yep....New single has been out for 10 days or so. I personnaly like it. Very smooth track.

It's a calm song, it has this mellow quality to it imo. Could've used a bit more energy though ('cause I must admit, it is slightly boring) but maybe it will sound better within the concept of the album, who knows?

I like the bass sound they're using in this song, as well as various other sounds so I did enjoy the whole sound of the song.

Yep, this perfectly describes why I enjoy it. I was not sure at first, but the song has a lot of really cool sounds, and that's what makes me like it as a whole.

It's kind of boring, as it has already been pointed out. Definitely not bad, though.

It's pretty meh. One of the worst of their debut singles. Angels (the song released on that promo video awhile back) was far better.

That being said, I hope it has more of the vibe of Angels. They said it had more of a bluesy feel akin to Songs of Faith and Devotion (which is my favorite album from them) so I'm hoping for more of that.

The entire record can now be heard on Itunes/Spotify/...

Going through my first listen now. I will post my thoughts about it later.

I can definitely say that after being disappointed by Sounds Of The Universe, this album is much, much better.

Edit: Angel, Secret To The End, and Goodbye are my favorites so far.

I like this album a lot. It's very gritty. And the theme of religion and religious imagery is there but not completely overpowering. It's a nice thread connecting the songs.

I honestly didn't mind Sounds Of The Universe, but this album is definately a better album in my eyes. I just love the whole blues/nin-esque gritty feel to it. Really like what they've done with the album

Also, I think Heaven definately works within the concept of the album and doesn't feel nearly as "boring" as it did on its own.

    Fully agree with this.

The gritty blues tone with the electronics is something I definitely love about the album. And you're right, Heaven in context doesn't feel so "out there" within the album. But some fans just want the super high energy songs as the singles.
