Who cares? The motherfucker played ever damn instrument except for strings and some drums samples.

Look up an LPU chat prior to ATS. Rob mentioned using an electronic drum kit and talked about some shit that he played that he loved that apparently didn't make the album

Of course, if it's a member of Linkin Park lifting somebody else's work, then it's "who cares?" But I remember a shitload of people during the Meteora release days and months afterwards decrying Britney Spears for "Toxic," because some people (with exceptionally poor hearing) thought she was lazy and uncreative and blah blah blah blah (they thought some part of it sounded like Faint). Probably giving away my age here, but I do care. Alot. Because I think it is lazy. The song is unlistenable now.

Waiting til Monday sucks!! I want the full song so bad. This song reminds me of New Divide the more and more I listen to it. Not a bad thing.

I didn't know a Fort Minor song had anything to do with Burn It Down...samples and pre-made beats are kind of common to use with rap music. Was it that creative? Obviously no, but he liked the sound and expanded on it. I don't see anything wrong with that. I'm pretty sure in the band though Mike makes sure they're only creating and not reusing things.

And Robot Boy has the same sounds as a song called What You Know by TI. Tell me something I don't know.

I actually am hoping that's not a real track listing. Some of the titles are really bad, the worst being ''Hearts On A Silver Platter''. I think someone just took the 5 confirmed track titles and added their own tracks and titles. I also don't think LP would make 14 songs for one album.

IT'S FAKE, IT'S A SLIGHTLY EDITED VERSION OF ANOTHER TRACKLIST POSTED BY THE SAME GUY 5 MINUTES BEFORE.

    It's not even worth discussing.

You guys remember the Live in Texas performance of A Place for My Head? The beginning part where Rob was just banging on that electro drum for however long it took them to get the crowd ready for the song? That's what I imagine Rob playing when they have electro drums in songs.

Also I hate that I didn't get to hear the extended clip on Amazon :(
Oh well, only 3 more days until the song comes out.

Thanks man. Does Brad tap in the intro when playing it live too? Can you find that for me? Thanks.

And yes, I know that Burn It Down =/= Believe Me, but I was making an (exaggerated) argument that certain members of the band have certainly been uncreative before. Sorry! Am I making people too uncomfortable?? Not all musicians are perfect and that's part of the beauty of music, but I don't see how this is a progression. And I find it funny that everybody screams that they wany progression when we're between album cycles and then when it turns out to be not-so-much (at least with the first single), everybody's happy with New Divide 2.0.

And about rap music generally sampling things: I would argue that those artists aren't really artists then. Not purely in terms of music.
