Never Should of Been A Remix

i think both the original and the remix are good in their own different ways

 

I agree with you and Stick N Move. On a creative level Reanimation blows out Meteora. You think from collabing with all of the different remixers that LP would have come a litle different with Meteora but I guess once they got back into the old groove with Gilmore it was the same old, same old. I think if people don't like the tracks they should admire them for being way more in-depth and creative than those on Meteora. That's why I think BTH stands out.

 

yeah, I like reanimation but I also like meteora, I don't really fancy hybrid theory but I can still listen to it.
I just can't wait till they make a remix album of meteora, that'll be awesome :rawk:

 

Thats the thing-i'm not too sure that any of the meteora songs need to be remixed,i love them just as they are.However i would like to hear a remix of Faint because it would be interesting to see what linkin park could come up with remixing a song that already has loads of elements of music (heavy rock,rap,continental and if you listen really deeply to the backround tune you can just about notice a hint of goth metal not that any of them are goths) :rawk:


On a side note:Kerrang just played 4 linkin park songs in a row and it isn't even a special lp day!!! (one step closer,breaking the habit,papercut and in the end)

They should have never remixed Place For My Head....well they should have changed it around and not included that guest rapper.

 

... I liked the High Voltage remix. I don't know... I like the looping piano, makes me feel like I'm in the old west.
The In the End remix makes me feel like it should be played in a ghetto, yes I am strange.
I voted for Forgotten. I adore the original version, it often runs rampant in my head, but the remix I really don't like. The added lyrics are cool, and I like Chali 2na (sp?) but the overall sound is bad, and they ruined the chorus.

 

i love the with you remix for some reason. and of course my december. but the whole cd is a little bit too technoish for me. i still listen to it from time to time.

 

Well my favorite songs remixed from Hybrid Theory are By myself (favorite song in the world) and place for my head.I don't not like any of the songs on the album at all although i much prefer the 2 original versions

(and yes i'm the same person as hellflame who has dedicated the post at the top of this page to all the strange people who don't like reanimation no offence )

 

they all should have been changed, i loved all the reanimation songs

 

I love reanimation but i stick by my desicion about high voltage

 

In the end is the worse IMO.
The instrument remix part was cool i just didnt like the new rap.

Reanimation was a good album. And it was good of Linkin Park to do this album because you see how Linkin Park collaborates with other artists. It's interesting to see other artist's styles. Especially when it is mixed into Linkin Park's music.

But I also thought that they shouldn't have made Reanimation. And that's because the song's on Hybrid Theory are classic originals and they should never be changed.
