Memories are all blurry but I'll say as much as I could remember.
This film is not animated, so it's definitely not How To Train Your Dragon. EDITED: Not Eragon.
It doesn't seem to be an old film so I'll say it comes out after 2000.

It's about some kids running into something, and got themselves into a world where dragons exist.
And the storyline should revolve about each kid was given an egg, a dragon of their own, and were to train them to fly (or to combat?), so that they could win in a certain competition or such.

    It's touching at some point.

Graphics of the dragons were pretty much like those in Jurassic Park (you know, like real-life puppets), I don't know how to call them.

Any help is very much appreciated!

    The followings are not:
    Dragonheart
    Dragonworld
    Dungeons and Dragons
    Eragon
    How to Train Your Dragon
    Goblet of Fire......
    Dragonslayer
    Reign of Fire
    Dragon Wars

Nah, it really has to do with having your own dragon and raising it from egg.

Do you remember any actors that were in it? That could help a ton.

It's not medieval but I don't remember seeing computers at the least.

It really has something to do with 'training a dragon of your own'...
I can't believe it, a movie I liked so much but wasn't famous?

I think it's a tv movie, I remember watching it on a local tv channel.
