I don't know why Nas is wasting his time with 50 Cent to be honest.

Sorry, I've grown tired of these rappers whining. It was funny the first two times it happened... then no. Just no.

Realize you weren't alive the first two times and one might lend some credibility to your opinion. You weren't funny the first time and won't be the next.

On topic, this 'beef' is pointless. Let Jadakiss and Fat Joe come with their responses and declare a winner. If it goes beyond that, there wont be a winner.

So because I was alive does not mean I cannot enjoy the lyrical content of a song? Here's a message for you: you weren't alive when the Beatles were still together, so you're not allowed to like them.

See how asinine that statement is? Regardless of whether I'm right or wrong (about you being alive during that time -- which, by the way, you had no clue about of me... so don't jump to assumptions), that doesn't change how completely stupid the statement is.

Like I said: it was funny when they were in songs the first few times, but it no longer is. It's funny how you go on to agree with me, too. Just wanted to get a shot in at me, huh?

My opinion doesn't change: these rap lyrical "battles" are utterly stupid. They're silly, childish, and I really don't care what one rapper thinks of the other. It has no place in the music industry, if you ask me. I don't care if a rock act does it, a metal band screams it in their chorus, or if it's a full-fledged song that a rapper has made.

I have nothing against hip-hop, rap, etc. But there are times when you have to draw the line.

Those are some pretty tight lyrics there. But it could be anybody, there's a lot of talented rappers undiscovered, it could be any Nas fan that writes good sht.

    Stop being so fucking ignorant.

Ever since 2pac and Biggie died, this "beefing" shit became serious. ;)

    Haha NICE response.

Man 50 is always trying to start up stuff... rumors are going around that he's going to separate from Dre and Eminem and start beef with them as well.

haha highly unlikely.. even if you are joking.. if he does seperate, it will be because dre and eminem drop his punk ass cuz 50 thinks hes bigger and better than both of them..

but as far as rap battles go, i think thats one of the purest forms of hip-hop.. tellin the other guy why your better than him and why and embarassing him in the process.. id take battles on records over processed mainstream c(rap) with r&b singers in the choruses.. "put a famous bitch on the hook and there you go with a platinum cd"..

50 basically called his wife a slut. I'd be pissed too.

If those lyrics are real, Nas just ripped 50 a new one.

Jadakiss' respone to Piggy Bank is floating around now too.

It's okay I guess. One of my friends hyped it up to be the best diss track ever, but it's just average.

Fat Joe's diss was a hundred times better then Jadakiss.

If anyone is wondering, here is what 50 said about Nas in 'Piggybank'

Shit like this is why I absolutley hate the rap scene. They can't act like civilized people, instead, they have to have problems with everyone else and sometimes it becomes violent. I have no respect for the rappers like this.

Can't act like civilized people? Ok, how about the SOTY Vs. GodSmack fight or the Finch Vs. Disturbed fight?

It's not just rap scene. It happens with all artist in any genre.

Edit : I really hate how majority of LPA has to come into topics about rap and bitch about how much they think the genre is shit.

I think Todd was more or less talking about the shootings and whatnot, not the actual fights, because that's pretty tame.

Case in point, I point you all to Norway/Europe and Black Metal. That is all.

Somebody has to put 50 Cent in his place. His goddam ego is so large that its about time somebody came out and said something. I mean somebody with credibility unlike Ja Rule.

I doubt anyone will get killed/hurt over this 50 Cent thing. ;)

ONLY if 50 Cent keep running his mouth, however.

This whole mess is eventunally going to fizzle and die out.
