Linkin Park have teamed up with MySpace for TEN lucky winners to win 2 tickets to the New York Show, September 14th, which will be Linkin Park's first live show of the year. Read the details below to see how you can win tickets and a chance to record the event for MySpace below. On September 14, Linkin Park will be playing at The Best Buy Theater (formerly known as the Nokia Theater) in NYC to celebrate the release of their new album, A Thousand Suns. This will be their only North American show of 2010. And we want you to be there to capture the band in all their glory. That’s right: We want to not only give you a pair of free tickets to the show, but also have you help us film it on site. Don’t worry, we’re not going to make you lug around a gigantic camera. We’ll provide you a flip cam. But essentially, here is the deal. We’re calling on a thousand fans (get it, because the album is called A Thousand Suns) to tell us why they would like to help MySpace film the show. We will then look over the submissions and whittle down to ten winners who will be given access to the show via two tickets.Sound good? Here is what we’ll need you to do to enter: Record a video of yourself explaining why you s be selected to attend and film the Linkin Park show in New York on Septeber 14th. And, if selected, how would your video of the show be unique? Upload that video to your MySpace profile and email the URL for the video to Code: [email protected] In that email, include your name, date of birth, phone number and primary email address We will accept submissions up until Thursday, September 9th at midnight EST and the winners will be contacted directly. You’ll need to live in the New York area (or be able to be in New York on September 14th) to be eligible for this contest. Before entering, please read all the rules and regulations here. Good luck. YESS!!! Like they said before there will be like cool effects and never before seen stuff so I can't wait to see the recordings.
Crappy flip-cam footage, meaning it'll be comparable quality to 95% of the audience videos you find on Youtube that people shoot with their phones. Distorted, indecipherable audio and low-res, incredibly pixelated video. Nothing that'll actually be worth watching. Hopefully the NYC Bitch Committee shows up for this one (they've been pretty good about the last few NYC-area performances), otherwise the odds of us getting any good quality recordings of this show are slim to none.
Can you enter if your 16 but the person who submits the video or own the facebook account is over 18?
sigh, can't afford to go to New York unfortunately If it were in New Orleans though, that would be a whole other story
What pisses me of is that I will be working two blocks away from the damn theater on the night of the concert...=[
