New poem. Myriad Awes In the heat of afternoon intrepid eyes now glaze and loom Come drawn toward an attractive face objecting some glossy lace That begs for me to chase Brighter than the moon Her eyes presently sweep the room possessing some hidden ace inside those eyes tempting me to taste while seducing me with grace My hand reaching, her back turning -- Displays her bare neck which fills my soul with quiet burning And more burning! Hotter when the sigh escapes her lips Her breath soft, more dulcet than tulips Within myriad awes Quickly but seeming slowly, the lace sultrily falls and now it's my caught breath that stalls Still, my feet pull me towards her Then a pause, hesitant to draw closer There, an arching neck Gives consent to trek-- To drown within those passions that my lusts now implore Become buried in the hunger by which this dame so easily applies to lore Suddenly my lips settle on her flesh And with one gentle brush, I vanish... Vaporizing deep inside some hollow stream Restraining inside each and every voluminous scream Then a raspy moan pierces my thoughts And I forget everything that I was ever taught As my hand is guided to one breast It breaks all illusions of delicate loneliness But still I fear, The warmth may halt. My confidence might veer And melt in the coarse salt Piling faults, My cracking skin is aging thin, like banal, hackneyed and timeworn old soil hidden in coal... These abounding dangers held with fingers are nipping at my hearts chilled bayou Her pursed lips, drawing nigh Any closer and I just might die.. These abounding dangers are seeping though fingers and nipping at my hearts chilled bayou Just one kiss from this celestial beauty that has descended from the highest ubiety is enough to debar my hearts beating cause I'd never want to let go...
