Cheers for the review Ana. A sample of a woman who just happens to be singing lyrics LP wrote? It's a guest singer, I don't see what the big deal is. I bet it's not even a well known singer, probably just a friend or relative of the band doing them a favour.
I don't see whats so horrible about having guest artists, if anything it would add more flavor to the album.
I'm pretty sure I recall LP saying they never wanted guests on their albums. Could be wrong though. And don't bring up Collision Course, that was a collaboration.
They got The Dust Brothers helping them out with the beats on With You. And producer is always there also, so...
great review, i really like it... that crazy screaming is probably in new LPTV episode ''Blackout'' freestyle
Even through i will miss some Chester screaming(im not sure yet, didn't read it 100%) Im very exited. Man it all sounds so Awesome. Im not gonna read this again(i already wish i didn't read it) Wow... I already love it lol
Still pretty disappointing. Very disappointing actually. That's ONE more than MtM. I mean...that's hardly a reason to make a point of there being more.
Are you like paid to attempt to negate even the smallest of slights? If not, seriously, get off it. I was just saying that I was disappointed with the lack of rap. Yes, I know this isn't LP of old; I don't care about that. Mike was just quoted as saying there would be more rap on this album and that he was definitely in his rapping/Fort Minor mode or w/e. So for there to only be three songs coming of that is a letdown to me. Why are you getting so uptight about me saying so? Sheesh man.
People shouldn't want more "rap", or "rock", or whatever. It's Linkin Park. The name of the band doesn't define the sound of the band, but the other way around. I can't stand it when people just want one element or more of a certain element. What happens when the rapping part comes on? You jump? Bop your head? Sing with it? Okay, those 30 seconds pass by and then the rest of the song sucks? If you want rap, listen to Eminem. If you want rock, listen to U2. If you want metal, listen to Metallica. If you want techno, listen to Moby. If you want hardcore, listen to iwrestledabearonce. If you want all of that, and then some, listen to LINKIN PARK.
