Hey guys. As the title says, I'm going to be going to my first concert in a couple of days, and I just have a couple of questions about my ticket and such. I saw a few similar threads to this before making one, but it appears my questions are a little more dumber than I thought. This is my ticket: http://img94.imageshack.us/i/023tj.jpg I notice that in various places it labels my seat as "GA1" or "GA3", as well as seat 41. However, I've been told that this just means General Admission, and well, there obviously are no seating plans for that. My question is how exactly does this work? Do they let the GA1 people in before GA2, GA3 and so on? Or is there just a giant lineup where people arrive hours prior to the show just to be at the front? I've heard some stories where after being let in, people would all just run to the front as fast as they can I know these questions may be kind of dumb, but this is my first concert and I really have no idea how this stuff works. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks for reading.
The numbering just helps the venue keep track of how many are sold. There are no seats or sectioning at the concerts. People with GA tickets generally arrive early and they are let in according to the line up order. After you go in, you run for your life so you can be at the front
