Ok, tell me what you think..they might have named this song Figure .09 because, we all know about a figure 8, its perfect and never ends, jsut a continous figure. Well maybe they think that a figure 9 ends..if you look at the number 9, it ends and isnt perfect...so I dunno...think on that one

is that supposed to apply that Figure.09 isn't good? that's not a good theory.

it's like asking why "Papercut" was called "Papercut", only the band knows.

I think Figure.09 was a working title that never lost its name like other songs such as 'Points Of Authority' and 'Papercut'

yeah. Like Dry Cell, their 3 newest songs are "Grape Jelly", "PeeWee" and "Velvet Elvis". i can't hardly see those names stay intact with the songs.

the title does relate to the song.

"And now you've become a part of me
    You'll always be right here
You've become a part of me
    You'll always be my fear
I can't separate myself from what I've done
Giving up a part of me
    I've let myself become you"

that means that you've become perfect with something that you wanted , but that something isn't what you wanted at all and it will stay with you forever.

yea, i really like this song. it's my fav.

I somehow doubt it ever had a workign title. It doesn't sound like it'd fit in a song, saying "Figure point oh-nine" or "figure point nine"

Aren't you contradicting yourself? :p heh....

"Working title" means it most likely had nothing to do with the song....and was only used to refer to the song before it was completed.....
