Alright, I'm not talking about music programs that hold music such as iTunes and MusicMatch Jukebox. I'm looking for a program that allows you to mix music, and allows you to hook up keyboards and such to your computer. I'm talking a program that's really cool and easy to use. I'm thinking around the price range of $50-$150.

I've been trying to make music for a while, but I can't necessarily record it if the only program on my computer that records anything is Sound Recorder. I want a good quality program and I'm hoping that you guys can help me.

    Thanks.

itunes, winamp, and windows media player to play (your choice)

total recorder or audacity to record/edit music

if you make music use acid, pro tools, adobe audition, and maybe even reason. i know apple sells a whole range of audio products regarding your dilemma, check out their website

VirtualDJ is good for mixing two songs like mash-ups or whatever.
Acid is good for doing music loops and such.
Reason and Sonar are good if you have a MIDI Controller or whatever and want do make music that way.

I don't think you're looking for a sonar like program...that's pretty complex...except, I don't know what else to recommend that would be easy.

If you need a good program with midi control use FL studio 6.
