I have a question about when Linkin Park played "One Step Closer" at the 2001 VMA's. After Chester says the last "Break" it sounds like Brad is playing the intro over again on his guitar. I know he wouldn't do that by mistake and the only thing I can get from it is that it was Joe messing up.

He re-played the guitar part for the intro because the X-Ecutioners came out and scratched over that part before "shut uuuuup!!". Or are you talking about the end of the song?
That doesn't make sense, though. Because if you look, he isn't playing the chords at all. Either something messed up with the sound, or Brad is Britney Spears with a guitar. j/p.
I didn't notice a mistake but maybe I wasn't paying enough attention. I'll have to watch the performance again. They have the whole thing on MTV right?
