As Said By Jawknee a few posts down:

There's a nationwide system outage with computers that have Windows XP, NT, and 2000. There's a virus going out, here's information on that virus:

    Virus

Only XP people have a solution so far. Here's the patch

    Patch

I got the virus and basically what happens is your computer has to keep restarting.

Here's what the error message looks like:

If you get that error message and you have XP, download the patch I provided above as soon as possible!!!

Windows 2000 and NT people, you guys are out of luck so far. But call up your ISPs just in case they have something.

I give a big thank you to Jawknee for typing that up. If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms with your computer, and are unable to download the patch, please post here for help.

I have SP1 installed and yes it does have its downers. Any time I have problems with an update I always get thru. Would you mind telling us wats in that security update?

Edit: errr to me thats sort of a big issue. im not sure but if i were u i would install sp1 but thats only if u have a lot of storage left on your pc. sp1 tends to be sluggish. sorry. try contacting some proffesional support.

My mom's company has the virus and so she hasn't been doing sh*t all day. You guys with XP, 2000, and NT better be freakin' careful.

Gateway has also been infected along with my ISP.

Oh, you know why it didn't work the first time I downloaded it? Because during the middle of the download, the RPC thing restarted my computer again. I redownload it again and I think it helped...hopefully.
