One track is a cover Public enemy - fight the power which will feature rapper lil jon
They are also doing a cover of Pink floyd - Another brick in the wall.

KoRn are also planning to go independent and start letting you hear new material off of their home page www.Korn.com in the future.

How is going independent a good or bad thing? All it means is they release things on their own -- it doesn't automatically mean that they're not going to have a producer, that they won't write songs the same, etc.

No if they go independent it means their label doesnt have last say on wether a song is released how it is or if it needs editing.
So the band can sound how they wanna sound & not how their label tells them to.

No offense, but KoRn's had very little editing done to their stuff. Their record label allowed them to release that "Ya'll Want A Single" video that painted the record industry in a bad light (deservingly, or undeserving), so I'm not sure what editing was done on that. They've never edited the lyrics to any of KoRn's songs, and the only time I've heard about them wanting to edit a video was the "Alone I Break" video, when they wanted a particular scene in the video, even though they didn't get their wish because Jonathan Davis said 'no'. KoRn's been sounding how they want to sound for a while now -- they've always had the chance to not have a producer and to do everything on their own, they just wanted to experiment. They were experimenting on "Untouchables", they've even admitted so. Their most recent album they did pretty much whatever they wanted, too.

If you read the quotes in the video, one of them says something along the lines of "OUR RECORD COMPANY WANTED US TO CHANGE THIS VIDEO. WE DIDN'T."

I lost my respect for Jon Davis because he failed to mature musically/lyrically, but as a whole, I think there is a better future for Korn. Although I am proud of their move, however, I don't think this will ensure they will change because of the fact that they are already a big name band

Wanted them to, but never forced them to. Epic had the right to stop the video completely since they technically own the material, but they never even pulled it.

The name of the greatest hits album is going to be named - "Volume 1"
Since they plan to release more albums and release another
    greatest hits/volume 2

Yeah, sounds convenient to me. It's like they're trying to give them a hardcore "we don't give a sh*t, so f*ck the music industry to be cool" persona.
