More Info Revealed about "Numb" Video

    More information has surfaced about the highly anticipated video for "Numb", directed by LP turntablist Joseph Hahn. The video is supposed to be very emotional with an artist who paints how she interacts with people in her life. In a recent interview with MTV.com, Chester Bennington commented on the inspiration for the lyrics for "Numb", and how he the lyrics apply to the video:

    "One of the things that sparked the idea for the lyrics was how every 15-year-old kid feels when they want to be different from what their parents expect them to be. When you're born, your parents have certain expectations of what they imagine you becoming, and 99 percent of the time it's completely different from your own goals. So the song is about finding your own self rather than living your life through the eyes of someone else."

    Mike Shinoda said the video was a gothic video, yet not with a dark feel, which could mean the video has the feel of Linkin Park's second video for "Crawling":

    "It's kind of gothic, but it's not dark. There's no father in the picture, and the girl is an artist. She draws and paints and [the video examines] how she interacts with people at school and whatnot."

    The director for the video, Mr. Hahn, said he wants to be a Holywood Filmmaker. Hahn is currently trying to get the rights to one of his favourite books so that he can make a motion picture about it, but for now he's stuck directing the "Numb" video. Joe commented on why he chose Prague to shoot half the video:

    "Prague is just a beautiful country, which is why I wanted to shoot there. All the streets are cobblestone, and the architecture is amazing. Every inch you walk, there's some cool molding or sculpture, and there's a different cathedral every other block. But you can't tell that we finished in up in America."

    Yeah! Today I`ve seen the Numb Video! And it`s amazing! I like it very much! The girl is almost the same like in" Crawling"( only with other problems)!You`ll know what I mean, when you see it! Have Fun and enjoy it! :)

    I`ve seen it at Midnight! They`ve said it was the Worldpremiere and that you can see it today in Europe!

    Your probably right about it coming out in September but I heard this on another good trust worthy LP website.
    I dont know is that is true but the web site is pretty reliable.
