It sounds like this album's going to be really different from previous two. I didn't believe it'd be, but I guess the guys were actually serious about it. Awesome.

I can't believe people are already ranting about politics. It's their album, let them say what they want. Jesus the album isn't even out yet.

I'm liking the sound of this song ''The Little Things Give You Away''. I saw 'acoustic' and 'solo' in the same description of the song so I have high hopes for it.

The album is shaping up to be awesome. Great album title, different sound etc. The ONLY thing that I don't like as far is the title ''Bleed It Out''...it sounds far too emo for my liking. Nevertheless it feels like my brithday right now so I'm anticipating this album greatly. :)

You know the video's played in a hockey arena after the home team scores a goal? Yeah that's what it feels like around here. We're wired, fired up, f****ng ready to go.

All this news is mind blowing. All in one day. I can't believe it. I was expecting just the blog rumor to last for a couple weeks, then out of nowhere, all the info we've wanted. It has boosted my expectations of the album tenfold. I cannot wait!

The single will more than likely be heard before april 2nd. I'd say near the end of this month, we'll hear the new single.

Yet more info this time from Mike and quite interesting

We just got off the phone with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, who filled us in on the details of the band’s first album in three years, Minutes to Midnight, out May 15. Shinoda, who, along with the rest of LP, spent an impressive 14 months recording Midnight, told us to expect lots of seemingly un-Linkin Park-like new sounds on the album.

    Here are our favorite details:

Minutes to Midnight is composed of sounds made by a practically Arcade Fire-esque array of instruments including banjos, marimbas and vintage guitars and amps. “People have always tried to lump us in with the whole rap/rock stereotype, but we don’t intentionally want to be part of that scene. We’ve always had our own personality and I think it really shows on this record.”
Shinoda tells us the title of the album has two meanings: “It’s definitely a reference to the doomsday clock…the Apocalypse…a metaphor for death and rebirth, but it could also be applied to the music industry, sort of tongue-in-cheek.”
While there are no special artists featured on the album, Shinoda shares a co-producing credit with the Grammy award-winning producer (and all around badass) Rick Rubin, “I was raised on his music and to now be working with him, to be mentored by him, is such a huge thing.”

Sounds good. The name of the album kinda put me off (not that big a fan of it), and some of the titles seem iffy, but when you put the words Park, Solo, Acoustic, Acapella, Minutes, The, Six, Linkin, and Delson in the same article, I'm bound to get excited.
