im really sad and shocked at this, MILHOUSE IS BEING DROPPED FROM THE SIMPSONS :'( http://www.snpp.com/upcoming.shtml
Apparently Bart visits him in Capitol City and Milhouse ends up giving him a wedgie.. but this move could be a temporary thing in the end though.
Exactly, Mark. Dr. Marvin Monroe (remember him?) apparently died and he came back a few episodes ago. But then Hans Moleman dies all the time and he still comes back, but he's a different story.

What about Maude? She died and never came back...same with Snowball II (and 3 and 4) [/b][/quote] Yeah, but that was meant to be a big plot twist because Simpsons writers were totally out of ideas, so they killed someone off. Remember when Skinner and Wiggum became detectives and moved to Capital City and Ralph was kidnapped? Back next episode. Burns drilled a hole in Hans Molemans head when he was high on drugs, back a few episodes later.
I remember that! But that was just a supposed joke spin-off that never happened... As for Milhouse though, I saw a commercial for tonight's episode saying that "one of the characters will leave the show forever", or something like that. Again, it could be some promotional trick but we'll find out tonight. Edit: I just watched tonight's episode and Milhouse does move away with his mom, but he comes back because his dad gets to keep him in the end.
Tonights episode was alright. I loved the part where the Repo guy came and said "I'm here for your pants" and Mr. Van Houten was, like, "Oh come on, not in front of my kid". So they walked outside on the Simpsons' front lawn and he took off his pants and gave it to the guy. You could see it in the backround. That was awesome. I just feel that alot of the jokes seem provoked and forced, like one of those set up knock knock jokes where both people know the end result of the joke, but say it to get other peoples laughs. Told you, he's back. Not killed off.
Yeah, it scared me too, although the joke with Ralph was classic "I can make bubblegum with my nose" and he makes a snot bubble, sick but funny
This post is probably too late but I just realized this a while ago. One character did leave the show forever like the commercials said, except it was Milhouse's mom and not him.
