Hey, 50 is a good artist. Or at least he was before 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin''.

And Buck is definitely a respectable artist.

Not as a citizen and role model, however:

Rapper Young Buck arrested in Nashville (news as of this morning)

Gotta go with Derek. Mike should not be associating himself with this guy.

What does that have to do with his music?

Young Buck is a good artist. Just because he is in G-Unit dosn't mean he automaticially sucks.

You guys need to stop complanining. This is a good thing for Mike, in my opinion. Buck is a pretty well known artist and it will expose Mike's name in the hip-hop world even more.

GRoDT was a good album, in my opinion. "The Massacre", however, was terrible.

I disagree entirely. Mike's rhymes on his own material will get him noticed in the Hip-Hop world, not through someone else just because they are a respected figure. That's like me saying Vanilla Ice will make a successful comeback by being featured on this album.

I mean Fort Minor toured with G-Unit, who are well respected in the Hip Hop world, but Fort Minor still wasn't too successful in terms of sales.

That's because they toured in Asia. If they toured in the US it would've been a different story.

Hence the words role model. He's projecting a very poor image for America's youth, and for Mike to be in any way connected with him, represents poorly on Mike. And if I recall, this isn't the first of Mr. Buck's run-ins with the law.

And, in my opinion, I really could care less about Mike being exposed in the hip-hop world. MTV and BET were invented for marketing ploys like that. Good music is good music, regardless of who, or how many people are listening.

Mike could get his name out in the Hip-hop world by other means. G-Unit, Young Buck are not even Hip-Hop...they're rap. Horrible rap might I add. Mike does Hip-hop, a better way to go would be to work with Talib Kweli, Kanye West, Outkast, etc. People who are respected as musicians, not people who depend on their image to sell records.

Agreed, but not Kanye West. More and more people are beginning to see what a joke he really is.

Percides working with Jay-Z earned the respect of many for not only Mike but the rest of LP too.

Well I haven't noticed Kanye's respect decline, but yeah, Jay-Z was a great collabo. I just hope this is a one time thing for Mike.

Yea i think people in Australia have always considered Kanye a joke, though people still bought his singles of course. And yea, mike can do better than working with some poser from g-unit. If i hear the word Pimp or Hoe come from mikes mouth, the majority of my respect for him will just disappear.
    He can do better.
