In a recent interview with BallerStatus.net, Mike Shinoda revealed that he was in meetings with numerous hip-hop artists as his ongoing saga of collaborations continues. These artists, which include previously mentioned Handsome Boy Modelling School, Chali 2na, and Styles of Beyond, now include Black Thought, Common, and Ice Cube.

BallerStatus.net: Any plans to do any more mash-up songs in the future or hip-hop collabos?

Mike Shinoda: Right now, I want to switch things up and do something different. I'm in the studio right now working on a hip-hop project. I recently had some meetings with Black Thought, Common, and I'm supposed to meeting with Ice Cube this week. I also just did a track for Chali 2na's solo album, and I'm doing some other production as the projects turn up. We'll have to see what happens.

Check back for more news on future collabs!

Ha, hip-hop is going to benefit greatly...

Common, Ice Cube, Chali, Black Thought... daaaamn...

Now all he needs to do is work with Danger Mouse, the guy who did the Grey Album. Their producing skills combined would match that of God.

It's not a mash-up. A mash-up is combining songs from 2 different artists to make it one track. For the record, LP have worked with other artists in the past -- this isn't new for them. *knock* *knock* Reanimation among a few things. :p
