Mike Shinoda To Score MTV VMAs

    This year, for the first time ever, MTV has revealed that the 2005 Video Music Awards are set to be scored with original music, announcing that the awards show will be composed by Linkin Park and Fort Minor's own Mike Shinoda. Mike will also be receiving input from rap artist Lil' Jon. In addition, viewers will be able to download the music as ringtones onto their Virgin Mobile cell phones after the show ends.

    This is basically new Linkin Park without the vocals since both LP and Mike are doing it. How cool!

    I just hope it wont be littered with "YAYYUHs".

    Correction: It's actually not Linkin Park and Mike Shinoda but Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda. Only Mike's gonna be doing this.

    Edit; Wait, I see that it's actually worded correctly but people are getting confused and thinking that all of LP will be involved. You might just wanna clarify.

    Yea Mike!!!!! This gonna be pretty interesting. Im finally glad to have a virgin mobile cell phone, so now i can get the ringtones.

    I'm skeptical as to whether this'll sound good given that it has Lil' Jon's input. Hopefully it'll be all Mike's doing, and Jon adds a few words onto a select few tracks...hopefully.

    And Mark, props for the NHL sig. Go Thrashers.

    maybe they both do one half and are the not really working together on it (hopefully ;) )

    I doubt there'll be any vocals on the tracks to be honest, they'll probably just be instrumentals for interludes and video packages or something to that effect.

    Yea its not gonna be like a cd or anything. He'll probably be picking songs for the music playing when your looking at the nominees and all.
