Recently I've enjoyed listening to High Voltage, Dedicated, and Step Up more than any other Linkin Park songs, and I really like how Mike Shinoda sounds when he raps, especially his part in the song Rock & Roll. I was wondering if anyone knows of another rapper that sounds alot like Mike Shinoda. I mean...there are tons of rappers, but they all seem to have a weird sound to them while Mike has a nice clear voice that I enjoy listening to...I don't like any rap other than what Mike has done, and I want to hear more of someone who sounds like Mike. Just wondering if anyone could help me out.

Evren, an underground rapper from Istanbul, sounds EXACTLY like Mike. Download the song "Istanbul". He sounds exactly like him in that song.

if you have the collision course CD then u can watch the video where they interviewed mike and jay-z. Just pop your cc cd into your comp and there should be a link to it somehwere in the enhanced cd portion.

No, we're not deprived, we just can't stand to listen to this multi million dollar 'gangsta' rap about how he's all 'poor' and living in the 'ghetto'.

A multi-million dollar Beverly Hills home isn't exactly the ghetto. It's all a bunch of commercialized crap.

    I don't. But it's everywhere.

Stupid rappers with their stupid crap that spawns stupid assed catchphrases that everyone thinks are cool to say every 5 minutes.

    WHAT?!

    OK!?!

Wow, I never knew how whored simple words could be.

Kevin, I don't know if you were paying attention or not, but Neil is talking about mainstream rap, not underground.

With the artist Evren, do all of his raps sound like Mike, or just the one?

Well, I guess what we consider mainstream rappers were really gangstas and pimps and hustlers in their ghettos before they hit it big. That's why mainstream rap is so centered in money and hoes and happiness, because they're not in ghettos anymore and they're living it big, and if they also talk about "hard ghetto life" it's because they used to live like that. I guess there's nothing wrong with that.
