First single on the new album "Save the polar bears" Hell yeah!!
I'm not a huge fan of MTM, but where does the "U2-wannabe" stuff come from? Because they kind of looked like U2 in the What I've Done video?
EDIT: Never mind, forgot about Shadow of the Day.
People said LP's new image reminded them of U2, as well as the change of their sound. You mentioned some of the reasons. Not that I agree with them - MTM is my favorite Linkin Park record and I also like U2, but I don't see how they were considered as 'U2-wannabes'. I mentioned it for teh lulz.

So, will we EVER hear the rest of Living Things live? I doubt it :'( I wanna see RU and Powerless live so bad. A suggestion for mike and the rest of the guys from LP, if you're going to make an album please make one where you can play all the songs live, at least once. I love Living things and it kills me that half of the album hasn't even be attempted. With this new album with newer songs, I could only hope.
Alot of songs that should be in the set list aren't or should be replaced with other songs.
Yet When you attend on of their live shows, The set still feels awesome.
This thread has nothing to do with the OP.
This is true when I went to a concert in 2012 it was off the hook. Just wish they would switch it up
like IMO take out lying from you, faint, SIB, breaking the habit, numb, given up, the catalyst. And replace it with like
figure 09, forgotten, easier to run, WAK, burning in the skies. Idk just switch it up
In regards to the live shows, I feel like with each album, less and less new songs will be played. I highly doubt LP will start extending their sets to more than the usual amount of time, and they continuously tell people the old staples are always going to be present. With new "old staples" being released every album, it's only natural that the band continues to smoosh as many hits in a set as possible. I feel that from Living Things, Lost in the Echo and Burn It Down will be the only songs we will continuously see played live.
I feel like at this point, with 6 albums out, it wouldn't hurt to play two hour shows.
I personally feel that it's out of the question. As much as I absolutely idolize Chester, I don't think he can push himself longer than they already do. And, to be honest, I don't want him to.
Almost all the songs on ATS was played live, except Robot Boy of course. And i think thats why half of LT hadnt been played live because its like robot boy, its unplayable.
Tends to happen after 15 pages of responses.
"Off the hook", he says, in 2014, he says.
I'm an old school kind of guy what do you want
I wouldn't exactly call a song such as I'LL BE GONE a hard song to pull off. LP could play all of LT, it's just a question of it sounding decent in a live setting.
For starters, that's not old school. And what I want is for you stop posting.
Even funnier is that he think's he's a G.
Scumbag Living Things - Made to be played live. Never gets played live.
