I just saw it. Good one!
I just had a revelation I think. LT will have no cussing, when albums are put for preorder on itunes they have the parental advisary explicit warning if it has those words. ATS had this, so does the new maroon 5 album. LT does not and even though it is a preorder it would still have it because they are required if it is PA.
I could be easily wrong tho
Lmao that doesn't count
I'm just saying, that's not much different from the "collaboration" that's happened on "Living Things". ;P
I guess I just had some pre-concieved notion of who they would pick. Like some rapper a don't like. I guess it would've been fine it was someone like SOB or Lupe or someone older like the pharcyde guys. Idk, I was afraid I wouldn't like who they picked, but they surprised me
So they surprised you by calling up a guy to handle strings ... pretty much like they've done for half their studio albums so far.
I was personally surprised they let some dude in to come up with an outro for "When They Come For Me" on the last album. :* Also, I'd love there to be some guest rappers on some of the upcoming "Living Things" remixes we're in for
Or it might have curse words but no Advisory.
There was a song on Disturbed's Indestructible album called Deceiver that had "fuck" in it, but that album didn't have an Advisory. I'm not sure how they go about picking albums for warnings now-a-days.
Yeah I guess that is true. It's an oldish album but Three Days Grace first album had overrated and had nt PA tag, I never understood how exactly they work
One thing to consider is the album isn't finished being mixed yet, so iTunes and everyone else haven't heard much, if at all, of the album. This is why there aren't any 30-second snippets yet of each song. Once those come out then maybe we'll see the PA.
But your theory could be right. I'm probably wrong.
I think this is very possible.
Then again, I don't see why the band would put up a pre-order if there's going to be more than one version [clean/explicit] of the album. This also goes for regular or the DVD/CD combo that the band have put out since that second album I'd rather not even name.
If there's nothing else thats physical (like a special edition) other than what was offered in the pre-order, I'll be upset. I dig the extras, and of there aren't any or not much then this album will just feel rushed to me.
on LPL Dimitry pointed out that on amazon there is no explicit tag and there should be if it was explicit. who knows really, I guess we will have to wait and see
That's what I mean. But, it's like going in circles. I could just reply to what you said with what I already stated above:
Did the band mention anything or giving updates about "The Making for LIVING THINGS"?.. or any LPTV for LIVING THINGS?
The band haven't mentioned either one. LPTV's a given, I think; the rest is up in the air
Owen can't say like David can: "Beck's my kid!" lol
arent there synthetic strings on my december and papercut ?
"Papercut", I'm not sure; I know there are synth pads in the verses but I can't hear them clearly enough to determine whether or not they're string textures. There are plucked string samples in the outro section, though, and, yes, there's a cello sound used for the outro of "My December", which was written after "Hybrid Theory".
here you go about the PA thing: http://www.npr.org/blogs/therecord/...sk-we-answer-parental-advisory---why-when-how
basically its up to the label, there isn't really any set rules for it.
Hmm thanks. so maybe LP chose to not have PA, idk.
I think Eminem's album should not be PA jk
