From CNN I don't believe it, and I hope it won't happen. Nintendo has grown fairly weak over the years, but not TOO weak.
I think if Microsoft ever bought out Nintendo the name would not die becouse Microsoft would use it to sell more Microsoft Nintendo.
Haven't Microsoft already bought Rare? Anyway, I don't think Microsoft would stop Nintendo's production. The move would be money-orientated of course.
They bought Rare, and they were going to buy Vivendi Universal a year ago.
They were also going to buy Rockstar but Rockstar gave them the ol' "**** You"
Microsoft Nintendo. That is the worst name I've ever heard.
Other possible names decided by combining Nintendo and Microsoft: Nintendosoft Microtendo Tendo Soft :chemist: Nincrotendo (I like that one)
um, i might be the only one here, but i think bill has enough money. he needs to calm down to see what happens with nintendo first, and if it starts to go under, then he can buy it.
Bill Gates doesn't have enough money for Nintendo to give themselves up to Sony, of all things. Sony is like their enemy.
If he's gonna buy nintendo , it really pisses me off "that guy is an enomic freak"Nintendo is not doing very well but don't think they give it up
Ok people, if you actually read the article, it says simply, "If Nintendo were to put themselves on the market, Microsoft would swiftly attempt to buy the company."
And I don't think it's likely Nintendo will do that, but if they did, for whatever reasons, Microsoft would buy them no problem.
