Michael Jackson is a talented individual with an incredible voice and great musical talent. While I will be the first to say that he's a little strange and has done a lot to ruin his public image, his musical abilities are undeniable. Here's to hoping his comeback CD doesn't suck.
the man's a genius, and insane simultaneously. he doesn't walk the line, he is the line. i still love him though, despite his strange choices.
He's extremely talented. Not my kind of music, but I have a huge amount of respect for him as an artist.
I grew up listening to MJ and I still love his music. While I think he's a very strange individual, I have the utmost respect for his musical ability. Favorite songs: - Smooth Criminal - Beat It - Thriller - Black Or White - Rock My World
noone can deny the Awesomeness of Thriller's Music video i agree with most of you, VERY Talented Musician and a little odd.
I'm just really interested in his new album. He's apparently going for a more R&B sound, which if you guys remember...he also did one one of his best albums of his career (imho) "Dangerous". Nobody knows when this new album will drop, but apparently he moved out to Ireland to live a normal life (his new house has no theme rides or any of that shit, its a quaint stone country cottage) and has been working on the album over there. I wonder how it'll affect his lyrics and music. And for the record, MJ does write his own lyrics, people say he has writers but this is not the case. That's one of the big reasons he's so awesome, because he's wrote these mega hits by himself.
I'm guessing I'm the only one who can't stand him and think he's a sick pedophile fuck who needs to be locked up in jail?
I'm definately interested, while i'm skeptical about its quality. I really don't know. I kind of feel the same way about Metallica's new album. You have this underlying sense that it's going to be shithouse, but your excited anyway because of their past. Same deal here. Invincible was just...really average. It's got nowt on any of his previous work. The tribe has spoken. I guess I had to expect someone would bring it up mind. And The Jackson 5/Jacksons were also class. I'm loving Shake Your Body and Show you the way to go at the moment.
This is fantastic, actually the whole Bad tour was phenomenal. He was such an incredible performer back then, and sung the whole show live. He's still great, however his voice has deepened a bit and he can't belt out the likes of Thriller and the like quite the same way.
The problem is unfortunately, even if he comes out with a stellar new album that rivals any of his previous works...he's going to need to do a lot more than sing great, to remove some of the negative publicity surrounding him in the media. I believe it's in his best interest to let Neverland Ranch be foreclosed, and stop allowing children (other than his own) into his home. Furthermore I think his image needs work because if you've seen him in the latest image of "EBONY" (ironic since he's white now) it's not really working for him. At least in Skywalker's sig he still looked like a man back then. Now he just looks like...I don't know.
I'm more than sure "alien" is the word for which you're looking. Michael Jackson is a great entertainer. There's not a person in the world who can dance (or could dance, as the case may be) like that man can (or could, again) dance. I'm not too fond of his singing voice, as it can be kind of irritating some times. Overall, though, he's genuinely a great entertainer. It's a shame his personal life took a turn for the worse. (And I'm not talking about his skin disease.)
Not from the new album but it's a newer song that wasn't released as a single from back in 2004. Written about the Iraq war. Most fans probably have not heard it unless they bought the Ultimate Collection boxset. Video is fanmade. Thought I'd post this for the MJ fans.
