After an incredible month of fundraising for Japan that ended up exceeding the band's original goals, the secret show at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles, CA is almost upon us. Below are some incredible statistics involving the show: In the month leading up to the event, fans have raised $325,167 for Japan relief, exceeding the band's original goal of $250,000. To date over 5,800 fans have pledged their support from all over the world, making this one of the most successful projects done by Music For Relief to date. There is still a little over 7 hours left (as of 1:04PMEST) to donate to the cause, so if you haven't helped out yet, please post the link on your Facebook/Blog to rally your friends to help Japan. We here at the Linkin Park Association would like to congratulate the Linkin Park community on their stunning achievement for Japan and thank all of the fans for making Music For Relief's dream a reality. We couldn't be any more proud of the fan base for working as hard as they have over the last month, and we hope our visitors in Japan have a swift and speedy recovery from the effects of the March 2011 earthquake. For those going to the show, we are looking for people to help us cover the event and be our representatives at the show. If you have a twitter enabled cellphone and would be interested in tweeting us the setlist of the show as well as taking pictures of the event, please add us at @LPAssociation on twitter and send us a message. We could use your help! Lastly, if you would like to attend the show, but did not manage to raise the $500 dollars, Music For Relief are holding an auction with Charity Buzz for four tickets to the show! Also LPLive are currently holding a raffle for two tickets to the show if you'd like to attend. Good luck!
