well according to billboard.com it's #6 in the top 100! i have no idea how many records have sold though and no ideas on how to find the info ><
I know it's over a milion. It was almost 850 000 copies in the fist week. But the question is how many now? Any body from the Administrators....... *hallooooooo* where you at when we need you ????? Throw some light over here.....
I believe the count is about 1,400,000 or something like that...... Because the sold 812,000 then 200,000 or close to that, then 186,000 and now 193,000
1st week - 830,000 2nd week - 264,000 3rd week - 186,000 4th week - 193,000 1,473,000 if my math is right.
Hard to say, but no, I don't. All depends on the singles they choose. If they can get another "In The End" hit, then maybe, but I really can't see them selling quite that many copies. I do think it will be many times platinum though
Yes LPFAN05 - i thought they'd be more [/b][/quote] 1.4 million is pretty damn good for one month, if you ask me. haha. Hybrid Theory, the highest selling album in 2001, sold 4.8 million in 12 months, so in one month Meteora has sold around 30% of that. I agree with twicethetrouble, they need that mass-appealing song. I think it's "Easier To Run". Release ETR as a single later on and Meteora will challenge 50 Cent for the highest selling album in 2003.
Hybrid Theory sold a lot when In The End was released. I think 1,473,000 is good! I think it will sell more then HT because when people see the singles, they might buy the CD if they like it a lot
and then Easier to Run or Numb. those are the songs that will sell more albums, plus Faint will probably do a damn good job to.
I'd say after "Faint' -> "From The Inside" or "Lying From You" these songs will make the album the best selling "Numb" is more not like a single... i donnow why but i don't see it to become a single, nevertheless is a great song.
