Meteora/Hybrid Theory

A lot of people are saying Somewhere I Belong is Meteora's "in the end". What about the rest of the songs? I can campare each song from meteora to a song from either hybrid theory or hybrid theory ep.

Somewhere I Belong = In The End

Hit The Floor = A Place For My Head
Easier To Run = Crawling
Faint = Papercut
Figure 09 = Ponts Of Authority
Breaking The Habbit = hmmmm....maybe Add One, this one is hard
From The Inside = Runaway
Nobodies Listening = Step Up
Session = A Cure For The Itch
Numb = Pushing Me Away

Some of those are a little hard. How would you have it?

Numb sounds sooo similar to Pushing Me Away, well lyrics wise and a bit of how the music is layed out. You can basicly sing Pushing Me Away over it, its very strange.
Chester goes 'I Don't know what you expecting of me, put under the pressure of walking in your shoes.....(continuing)" (Mike sings) Then chester "Every step that I take is another mistake to you...(continuing) (Mike sings)

You can see the comparison to Pushing Me Away:

I find those very similar just by listening to. Its the only really obvious track I found on the album.

 

Nope. Not quite agree with the comparison of Figure.09! In the end of the song it REALLY sounds like A Place For My Head not like Point Of Authority. Listen to it and you'll get it when Mike raps and Chester screams from behid......

 

i don't mean all, but some songs are similiar

 

I think some of the songs from Meteora are similar inbetween. And the others are similar with HT. But as a whole it is a new LP Style, which i like but i'm a bit dissapinted that [as i said] "some of the songs from Meteora are similar inbetween".

But on the other hand there are songs which are COMPLETLY NEW. Like Faint [I really don't think it sounds like Papercut]. This song is awsome and Breaking The Habit.

 

Gosh, papercut has nothing to do with faint, but they're both awesome.
I hope there are completely new tracks in meteora. I don't want copies of HT ones. And, till :chemist: now, i think i should be pleased.

Those are horrible comparisons. You can't compare any tracks on Meteora to tracks on Hybrid Theory. They're so much better.
