In modern today's technological society, anyone can download "Meteora" within 10-20 minutes and get away with not having to pay for the cd, despite all it's enhanced features and limited edition DVD. The record industry is scrambling to try and find alternatives that will make buying a band's music instead of downloading it more enticing. Enter the DVD-A format with it's superior sound and extra features and storage space for extra content. Many more record companies are turning to DVD-Audio to save the plummeting sales of cd's. Companies such as Warner Bros are expecting DVD-A version's of newer releases, such as "Meteora" to come out alongside (or within close proximity) to the cd's release dates.

This may not be much, but it's an interesting possiblity that alot of people have been inquiring about. Click here to read a full article about DVD-A's and their growing possiblity of becoming a standard format in music. This has NOT been confirmed by Linkin Park or Warner Bros Records and should be treated as only a little bit information shed on the possibility of a DVD-A coming out. If you wish to learn more, we suggest you e-mail Warner Bros. Records asking about a Meteora DVD-A.

you can watch/listen to it with your computer too (of course you need a DVD drive)
you can use it with a PS2 as well (if you have one)

a Meteora DVD-A would be very cool...

it would be cool but without a special dvd audio player it would sound exactly the same as a cd so im my opinion theres not much point.
Its is a cool idea but people are still going to download from the interent, no one is really gonna be to bothered if the quality is that little bit better

you'd have to compare both versions with a discman or some headphones. like in Wth>You on the reanimation DVD, if you only listen to one headphone his voice fades in between the left an right channels of audio. it sounds really cool.
