Metallica covers from Korn and Limp Bizkit

Why the hell do half ass guitarists try to cover some of the greatest metal guitar songs of all time? Limp Bizkit found a nifty way to get around demonstrating tallent on a guitar solo on the cover of Sanitarium by replacing the guitar with a shitty turn table solo. And they also used one guitar to take out all the great hooks from the origional song on what little he did play. And Korn found a way to get around an extremely technical and amazing solo from one by skipping it all together. What next? Is Linkin Park going to come out with their abridged version of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb by cutting out the solo? Or how about Godsmack, and their sucky guitarists try to do Ozzy's crazy train minus all the talent from their guitar parts. This just shows how much they suck as guitarist.

Even if Metallica registered "one of the most talented bands on the planet," I'd still hold strongly to my opinion. You arguing that Metallica is one of the most talented is your opinion as it's my opinion to say they blow chunks.

Calling a band garbage (Band-bashing?) was not called for, you could have said, i don't like them, but calling them garbage outlines not only that you don't like them, but they aren't good at what they do.

I don't think Metallica is good at what they do unless what they do is being a horrible band. I hate the lead singer's voice with a passion and their songs are utterly boring except for perhaps 2 which pass off as not bad. Look, people won't always like your bands because we all have different tastes -- you just have to deal with it.

Agreed.

A lot of my favorite bands get bashed for the dumbest reason but I don't go and flame them. Only because I know they are not going to effect anything related to that band.

So you think Kirk Hammet is a horrible guitarist, Lars Ulrich is a horrible drummer and Rob Trujilio is a horrible bassist.
