Message 4 - 'A Thousand Suns' Coming in September?!

That's what I was thinking. obviously it's too distorted to tell for sure, but I think that it's saying September 21st.

This is really disappointing, lackluster in terms of scale for an album release date.

Well anywho, hopefully things get busy news wise for LP.

 

i first applied an enchance color effect to the post-saturated picture. I then added a "sobel" effect to that, and now I am 100% sure after looking at my final image that it DOES NOT say "SEPTTWENTY". It pretty much just looks exactly like "SEPTEMBER", with nothing else added after. The logo they added to the picture cuts into the last few letters so its a bit hard to read but I think everyone is just looking for something more thats not there.

 

I think it says SPETTWENT, not SEPTTWENTY. The last letter is a "T".

To me it looks like it is either September or Septem27. Even though 21 makes the most sense.

EDIT: Is there anyway to knock out the logo to see the letters more clearly like through levels? I don't have PS at home.

 

Compared to the first message, which merely contained the title of the album, this "release date" and new logo message is so weak.

Just seems like it should be more epic is all I'm saying.

 

And that "7" You guys are seeing is actually just the "ER" At the end of September... The top line of the E is cutting into the R and the ending of the R is cut off a little so it looks like a 7. Messure each letter and place them one by one and you will see there is no room for "SEPTEMBER" if thats supposed to be a 7...

 

The title "A Thousand Suns" is growing on me. I want to see the cover art!

 

I think the main problem here is that we STILL have no solid evidence on a single or an album release date. The Catalyst /// August 2 could be anything (although I agree that it is the date for the single). And now A Thousand Suns // Sept-(insert your guess here).

Meh, fair enough. But if others are right and it says SEPTEMBER, then I expect another message or two of epicness where he can fire his lasers (did I do that right ).

I did at first.

Then again, it's hard to tell exactly what comes after "SEPT." And it's easy to see a '7' in it and assume it's a release date since Sept. 7's on a Tuesday.

The last character could be a 7, or it could be (and probably is) something else.
Now that I've looked at it again the last character looks more like a "T." Then again I could be wrong about that too.

 

With what information?

All that's left is the art and complete track list, and is that supposed to be less epic than the release date announcement?

 

I replaced the with a thumbnail, it looks better.

Also I'm gonna edit the title so the main info is there aswell.

 

I have no doubts it says SEPTEMBER. Lol reguardless of what day it is, thats good enough for me. If he wants to make this a puzzle and still keep people curious and intreagued afterwards hes going to tell you, "September", and September only. Why do we need to know the exact date? We Don't. He knows its better to keep people wondering, "SEPTEMBER?!?! BUT THAT COULD BE ANYTIME IN BETWEEN A 30 DAY PERIOD!... I must know the answer..."

 

I think it's quite apparent now what they are.... Twin Albums!!!!!
