I don't know if you guys agree but when I was looking at the members that registered, half of them didn't even post once. Maybe you(administrators) can delete some? I think it is wasting bandwidth but the administrators can do whatever you want with them. This is just a suggestion.
I totally agree. This happens in a lot of forums. That sucks. I think that first the administrators should email them and wait for a response. And for those old, old members that have never posted they should be deleted. This is just an idea, i'm not telling the admins what to do...
I doubt they'd do this. First of all, to the best of my knowledge, a member name with no posts only takes up text in a DB table, and not much more. Technically, the only people 'wasting' bandwidth, are the posters . If it really bugged the site to have so many non-posting members, I think Alex would have been the first to clean them out...
It's not a problem at all. While it makes it look like only a handful of members post, it's not really that big of a problem. Thanks for looking out though. Closed.
Don't worry, we've been discussing this ever growing problem for quite sometime. One day in the summer we might delete all accounts with 0 posts, hell..we might do it in the next two weeks. You're right, it does take up space and that's why we are going to delete some soon. Thanks for your concern, just know the problem is being dealt with as we speak.
No it doesn't.
And how can you be so sure Will? I'm sorry but take the following into account: You can say it doesnt, but then explain to me why when I was talking to a LPMB Mod she told me they had to clean out the database a little because there was so many members that it was slowing the forums down? And you guessed it, a majority were members with 0 posts. It slows down the forums when it gets really bad, numerous people have said this Will.
*does the Told You So dance* lmao.
*does the 'lets stop replying to closed topics' dance*
