Malaysia puts restrictions on LP Concert.

    Recently Linkin Park was given the go-ahead for a concert in Malaysia, but it wasn't without it's downsides. The band will not be allowed to jump around on stage, throw anything from the stage, scream, wear shorts, etc.

    Okay, before you guys go postal about this, you have to remember that Malaysia is a completely different country, and thus, has a culture that is completely different from ours. With that in mind, I completely understand why the restrictions were put in place.

    Scream? There's gonna be blanks in lots of songs (just think about OSC and Faint :rolleyes: :D ) .

    Yeah we must not talk about their traditions... But this is weird :wth: .

    Yeah, the only way for Chester to sing the entire song would be do have an acoustic concert :lol:

    I can explain the "No shorts" thing. I think its because Malaysia is a muslim country, and in islam it is a sin for a person to wear shorts above the knee caps. But I highly doubt that LP wear short shorts :lol: .

    something offensive? u shouldnt mention anything at all.. hmm.. oh well.. no screaming?? is that possible? for a LP concert.. heh.. i can say that i respect those restrictions.. heehee.. i have malay frens.. :p they're funny.. heehee..

    I think we're going to be in for a treat to be honest (bootlegs are bound to circulate) because since the band cannot scream, LP will probably perform the entire concert acoustic with melodical enterpretations of thier songs, imagine "Noooo..hearr me out now.." in a slow and somber voice. Heh

    Have you noticed something? Many stupid (ok it's their traditions) interdictions but... they can swear! This doesn't really make sense...
