anyone heard of them? they are pretty cool. they are a mix of Twisted Method and Dope members. (i'm almost positive that neither group has broken up?)..... you can tell in the instruments that it's "Dope"... but the vocals are a little more melodic.... great stuff, check em out and buy their self-titled EP if you like em: Lineup: Tripp Eisen - Vocals (Ex-Static-X/Twisted Method) Derek DeSantis - Bass / Background Vocals (Ex-Twisted Method) Virus - Guitars / Background Vocals (Dope) Edsel Dope - Drums (Dope) personal favorite(s): "The Way I Was" (my brother says that the vocalist sounds like Chester Bennington in this, and after further listening, i can see where he is coming from, but it's not really THAT close, ) and "The Morning After" Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/makeshiftromeo Website URL: http://makeshiftromeo.com/
I don't think Tripp is from Static-X... I've been following Twisted Method since their beginnings and that's where Tripp got his start. Unless I'm mistaken, Tripp's real name is Derrick "Tripp" Tribbet. I was sad to see Twisted Method break up/having their guitarist pass, but I'm glad to see former Twisted Method members doing new things, and Makeshift Romeo looks good. It seems to be an evolution of Twisted Method's sound with less angst and more pop... Which I don't care for too much, but still like it.
Like Keaton said, Twisted Method broke up a long time ago. And, no, this isn't the Tripp from Static-X. Anyways, been following this band since they started and love 'em.
