She's on the Victimized lyrics and also at When They Come for Me
Its definitely Lauryn Hill in WTCFM but I can't place how referencing her fits into Victimized.
Elliot, most of those edits me or Derek already proposed. But there are some you mentioned I'd go with, just to have the completely correct lyrics.
Whatever works! I figured since there weren't too many corrections, I'd just post all the ones I saw in the first post rather than looking through everyone else's corrections as well. Glad we're all on the same page. The album is INCREDIBLE.
Sorry, Derek. I didn't ignore your corrections at all. It's hard to ignore something you didn't know about.
In fact, I edited my post before I even noticed that you edited it at all. I've edited it again though, per your original corrections.
"Time has come for you" - Not "The time has come...
SKIN TO BONE
Let tomorrow have its way, with the promises betrayed or we chase?
Promises are a big theme in this record, huh? ^^
Well... Maybe it's just a reference to When They Come For Me.
In Until It Breaks: that part "[...]like that-like d-d-dat-d[...]"... Is it a reference to Fort Minor (Petrified) or simply bad written?
Not sure if this has already been mentioned:
UNTIL IT BREAKS
But learn to respect it because you [clearly] can't stop it like that.
Depends at which part in the song because I think both are said.
Pretty sure in VICTIMIZED Mike's not saying "Lauryn already hit em" he's actually saying "go on already hit em."
its tough to understand what exactly hes saying though! lol
Does anyone know if the physical copy of the cd has the lyrics? I'm going to drive myself insane trying to listen closely to the debatable ones.
MSC claims they have written the official lyrics
It's not a claim when you have the artwork. It's a fact.
"When your name is finally drawn, I'll be happy that you're gone" - is Mike saying that he'll be happy when this person dies?!
Apologize my english.
For some reason for the first verse in "Lost In The Echo" i keep on hearing "There and back / yet my soul ain't sail" instead of "yet my soul ain't sell".. (edit: i read the previous posts just now and noticed i wasn't the only one thinking along these lines XD) thoughts ?
I think as far as lyrics go for LP, Living Things> Minutes to Midnight
I think in victimized it goes "Go on already hit 'em." but the reference to Lauryn could make sense since she was referenced before. I'll just wait until I listen to the cd version of it for better clarity. Maybe there is lyrics in the artwork or something.
Separate names with a comma.
