So yeah...these songs are terrible (obviously they were made to be that way) and I feel like I should be high while listening to them, lol. My "favorite" would have to be "No Laundry". I cracked up laughing at that one for a while. I do understand that they were just having fun so to me it's not really a big deal. I still do wish for something other than this though. Oh well. Oh and it really sucks Mike felt the need to apologize for this. How embarrassing and awkward.
The band shouldnt have to apologize for this. Remember the fans that used to wish that we had The Wizard Song on LPU CDs? Some people are never satisfied. I think this is much better than Breaking the Habit Live x 200.
Here's my theory: There are 6 tracks. So each track is written by only one member. Who thinks these were MTM b-sides? Oh and the acronym MCSHLJFA is very silly and I love it. And MCSHLJFA > Songs from the Underground. And Road to Revolution. And Minutes To Midnight.
This CD is actually proof that Linkin Park could successfully conquer Blues, Grunge, James Brown, The Beatles, and Dance Music.
I haven't actually heard it myself but,, regardless of whether you actually find it funny or not I think people should be grateful that they seem to have at least made an effort to do something novel for it. I mean most people said they didn't want the usual live tracks, right? Then again I guess this is an instance of the band being damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Of course, the majority of LP fans wont be happy until the LPU CD is 150 tracks of unreleased material in the form of B-Sides or Demos.
