Not only has the band returned with a new singer, a new drummer, a new song, announced a world tour, announced a new album - now comes also the return of LPTV. This short but sweet episode shows the start of the From Zero cycle, the event that took place on September 5th, 2024. The episode spends its runtime talking to fans that attended the event and showing the band backstage before taking the stage. You can watch the episode below. What do you think of the episiode? Do you wish it was longer? Are you excited about everything that's to come on this album cycle? Come and discuss in our forums. Source: Linkin Park YouTube
Me realizing I wasn't there. But honestly, holy moly LPTV is back. Everything feels so surreal, in a good way. I have so much to say but I cant even wrap my mind, words, feelings around it. Im just happy. Also the video showed them all so stocked and excited. Both the band and the fans. Its truly heartwarming <3
Uhm... New here, OG Linkin Park fan though. And... it hurt to hear they were replacing him. But when she sang songs sung by Chester my heart literally broke again, and I cried like a baby. Still crying on and off but it hit that spot man. I am not cool with her singing the songs I grew up on singing along with Chester. Nothing can or will change that! And... as for growth.... if they make new songs I will give them a try because of my love for Chester! But damn.... ngl.. this hurts so much and puts me in a very dark place!!!
They didn't replace Chester. This narrative needs to quit. She succeeded him. EDIT: Watching this episode, the opening is the same sound/music they used to open the LPU show. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's on the album, it's probably the From Zero (Intro).
I was really hoping for more behind-the-scenes footage of them putting together this show, maybe a bit of soundchecking or something like that, but it's nice to have these videos happening again
The video title does say "Episode one", so I think we can assume there will be more stuff later. Regardless, this is LP, so we know *all* of that was filmed and we'll be seeing it at some point
Yup, this. A proper, deep-dive one would be great. But I don't know to which extents the early trials and errors of the current band incarnation have been filmed though.
So nice to see LPTV back, next few episodes will be focused on this six shows I guess, but I hope there is more behind the scenes work later. I don't think we'll see them working on the album before it's actually out, during the interviews Mike was so excited but at the same time didn't want to spoil any details, he really wants us to listen to it first. He also seemed to suggest or imply that TEM was the only "new" song to be played in these first few shows, again, he doesn't want to spoil. But let's see, today's the first test.
It's cool. Kind of wish they actually showed more of the LPU members being shipped off in busses cause sounds cool how sneaky they had to be to hide what was happening
I would absolutely LOVE that as an intro. One of the coolest sounds I ever heard coming through my headphones when I watched the live stream!!! And if that would be a taste for things to come that would be even better!
