For the second week in a row now we've just gotten a new LPTV episode showing the making of for a song of off From Zero! This time we're looking at 'Cut the Bridge', starting all the way back in 2022 and the earliest form of the song, with Mike and Dave working on the guitar and bass with some scratch vocals. We then move to 2023 with Colin joining the other 3 in Mikes home studio (The Stockroom), going over lyrics. It then moves into Eastwood Studios in 2024, with Mike recording verses and the band going over the vocals. Check out the episode below.

What do you think of the new episode? Weill we get the making-of for 'Heavy is the Crown' next week? Come and discuss in our forums.

Really cool one! Really experiencing the birth of a song on this one, and cool to see how they all are participating.

Now wondering if they'll doo all the songs in chronological order

Seeing Mike doing the rap part in the booth ascending in tone and power after Colins remarks gave me some goosebumps. Very good video again!

I'd guess so, they started with TEM and now CTB, so next really should be HITC

This is looking like it will be a cool little series that I didn't expect them to do. I like how it shows the band returning to the idea over the course of years

Re-watching this and TEM video, it's obvious Colin addition to the band goes way beyond the drumming. Almost feels like it's more about the production side of things than the drumming. But of course it's only based on what they're willing to show us.

Not to dismiss the drumming parts though, the album has some gems in Casualty and IGYEIH.

Okay, true, not new information. If anything, old info on display.

Still happy to highlight. Words are words, interviews are interviews. It's cool to see it in action ^_^

The main guitar riff was totally different from the finished version even in February 2024

this episode was all sorts of emotions for me. a lot of sadness seeing just the 3 of them trying to pick up the pieces when they eventually had everything, but also a lot of happiness for the future.
