Well, wasn't that a nice documentary. Overall, a decent lptv. Hopefully, Chester is fine now Also, using MTG over the live footage is cheating man. It just makes accepting the fact that they're most probably never gonna play that song live hard.
I'm thinking they do have footage of it, but probably due to the graphic nature of the accident and most of all, respect for Chester, they didn't show the accident on purpose.
Yeah, I'm also sure they have the footage. I wouldn't wanna see that footage. He seemed to be in a lot of pain. You could see how disappointed everyone was for chester since they all know how much he loves doing what he does, Mike especially. In any case, he should be better now. Hopefully he doesn't hurt himself more in the upcoming shows.
Man , Chester is really a taff guy but this looked very horrible. Man, thats shit. Hope he is fit as soon as possible. I can totally understand, why he couldnt continue the tour. Nobody should do this.
This. Judging by how Chester explained his leg twisted, I imagine any footage is rather nasty. I'm just glad it wasn't like that one basketball accident a few years back where the guy's bone came through the skin (forget who it was but it happened on live TV and was AWFUL)...in short, this could've been a lot worse.
When they shifted to the basketball court, I was like, "Welp, I know where this is going" afterwards I was like, "Yup...." Glad they didn't show anything. I sprained both my ankles playing BBall, it would be just too hard to watch. The thought of him just slipping on the water bottle makes me cringe of pain...
You stupid or what? Anyway, poor Chester. I respect him for still going on stage knowing that he would have to go into surgery if the bone shifted. That's dedication right there.
What are the odds right?? It's also kind of amazing that he was able to play basketball a few weeks after having surgery, whilst still walking on crutches..
lmao Joe and his eyepatch comment was brilliant. Props to Chester for doing that one (?) show with the injury.
I like how they show him screaming like a beast in the start of the video, in order to make him look more manly before he falls on a water bottle On a serious note, respect to him for actually performing that night.
Right!? I can at least take consolation in the fact that I was in the crowd shots while they played it, I guess. It's a shame they didn't use any footage from that M&G (we were in the Preds locker room!), but time obviously had to be left for the injury/Indiana show. At the very least, they did a good job documenting everything. I really feel for him; it really helped hit home how rough of an injury that was, and I know that had to be a difficult position to be in. Also, Brad peek-a-boo was the best. He just looked so damn happy.
All I can think about is how great it is they're actually using live recordings in LPTV's now instead of throwing studio tracks over live footage
