I thought you all at LPA might be interested in this....I posted about it on some other forums but here we go: For those of you familiar with LP's official live audio releases, you've already heard Pooch's work. He is the man responsible for mixing Linkin Park's live performances every night...twice! Not only does he do the mixing for the digital souvenir pack downloads, he also runs the soundboard at each concert. We recently got in touch with Pooch and asked him a few questions about his job, life on the road, and some of the behind-the-scenes Linkin Park stuff that not many people know about. We hope you enjoy and we'd love to hear your thoughts! Thank you very much to Pooch for doing the interview and thank you to Astat, who is basically the *only* unofficial LPLive Staff Member (but still contributes just about more than anyone), for coming up with these great questions! You can check it out here.
Great interview! I wish the Australia and early 2007 shows could get released though. I don't understand why Bamboozle 2007 wasn't recorded for us, that would be awesome. That was an awesome show.
I loved the wide range of questions that Astat wrote and the answers that Pooch gave. While I would have preferred the Valentine's day intro to stay, I think he and Dylan Ely have been doing a great job and that he has been capturing the live audience feel sound.
