I do gotta agree with DS that alotta folks have rhythm and timing off or are just using the stems...that's not gonna impress the band.

Hi everybody!

Although we cannot compete in the official contest ( because we live in Holland....crap ), me ( Maurice ) and my brother ( Michael ) wanted to do a remix of the song. We have used only Cubase LE4 and one guitar that plays through a Line 6 Spider 4 75W amp. Go and check it oud on Soundcloud if you're still interested

To DS:

I don't think the vocals are 'Way off' as you put it, perhaps in terms of milliseconds it could need adjusting, which i will look at come closer the submission date.

The melody has not been changed in my submission, all you hear is manipulation of the vocal stem provided, which still means all you can hear in the track is mike and chester. I've not bended the rules here.

Your submission is a good contender and I'm sure your new version with no added vocals will be a hit with the fan base you've built up, I think it will definitely get a listen by the band.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I'm going to start tweaking the song as I've received plenty of pointers to make it sound better, will post a video response to my current submission and link you guys when it's done!

I originally thought the idea was to create the song, apparently i was wrong lol but im working on another.

Here is what i did:
1. Add the tracks
2. Make them awesome
3. add some guitar, and bass
4. Create a verse
5. made 3 & 4 awesome
6. enjoyed, and continued to make awesome.

What programs do you guys use? Cause Im kinda lost on what to use... And btw, thanks LPassociation for doing this, it means a lot since there's a ton of people that will miss this once in a lifetime oppertunity including me :'(
