Wow that's just dope of Mike to make that kind of time for you to sit down and just talk. Great work all
Just listening, but while i am doing it i want to say: Thanks you guys for this. THis is such a great thing to be part of a community with such a awesome team. And a big thank you to Mike for give us some talk This is awesome to have such a chance.
Wow, just wow. This blows me away, I'm so looking forward listening to this. You even talked about what I've thought about in the forums ("recreating HT") and I can't wait to hear what Mike says about this. The only problem is... my router just went crazy and I have only 100 mb of high speed data available in my data plan. This means I have to wait until my new router arrives before listening. DAMNIT!
As Derek's post suggests, the podcast is really meaty and the best part is that Shinoda's all-in as it goes deep into the stuff we regularly discuss here. Such as whether or not Shinoda's mother is Russian. Well worth the wait. You'll love it. EDIT: unless you're really desperate for LP to go back to making early-2000s nu-metal LOL - unlike Shinoda, (who I could assume had a PR person peering over his shoulder) I personally don't hold any respect for such people.
I don't think you'll like what he says about recreating HT . It's one of the funniest parts of the podcast imo.
I just really am happy we finally made this happen for you guys. Even though we only started the podcasts in 2011, I know long before that it has been a fan request for us to have some sort of podcast/radio style interview with Mike, but it was always just an issue of timing. To give you an idea of the time crunch, Mike literally went straight into a band studio meeting right after the podcast.
Thank you guys. Also, congratulations on LPA being 15 (or almost 15)! I've been a member on this site for maybe 3 years (can't remember), but have been reading it pretty much since the time Reanimation came out. My memory is pretty cloudy though, since I'm 27 and I was 12-13 at the time.
I'm not desperate for them going Nu MetalZ again. But now I'm even more curious about the interview, thanks for the sneak peek.
